When God created humanity, he placed Adam and Eve in a beautiful
garden and God walked and talked with them.
However, the relationship was soon broken.
Adam and Eve had to leave this place of peace. From there
began God’s pursuit of the restoration of the relationship.
The story of God’s love is seen as we follow the development
of the Old Testament narrative.
The way God pursued Israel is an example of how he pursues
each of us. “When Israel was a child, I loved him, and
out of Egypt I called My son” (Hosea 11:1).
