Vigil: Before & After or“Why is this night
different from all other nights?”

During this service we will be ending the day
in the Christian Calendar that marks the time Jesus was in
the grave. Then we will be beginning the Easter Vigil (if
we can call the night before Christmas, Christmas Eve, we
can call this night Easter Eve). For the early church the
Easter Vigil lasted all night long. We will explore what
this time means to us 2000 years later as we lead up to our
communion. Mark 14:22-25.
