The Mystery Proclaimed

We were created to bear the image of God. But through our
fall we lost the knowledge of that image and our purpose in
life. We were left to live lives of quiet desperation, bound
by the laws of this world - including death. However, our
Creator (the only one who held the right to redeem the creation
and the only one who holds power over the laws of this world)
poured out His love to us, coming in the form of mortal man
to re-image for us and show us once again the image of God
and our purpose in life. Through His death and resurrection
He shows us who He is. He is the One who holds power over
the created order and He is the way, the truth, and the life
- giving us back what we lost: an eternal life of purpose,
living in loving union with the Creator!
