The Impact of the
Holy Spirit on Our Relationships
~Eric Shaw
The “tenderness of conscience” we need to listen
to the voice of God and the lead of the Holy Spirit in our
lives will lead us to a new awareness of our impact on those
around us as well as an active awareness that every person
we meet is a daughter or son of God. This includes spouse,
children, parents, neighbors, friends, as well as those we
may not be so fond of. How could our relationships change
if we willingly submitted to the response of the Holy Spirit
when we get a bit up tight with one another? What fruit(s)
of the Spirit might come into action in our lives to make
our relationships more like Jesus? (Galatians 5:22-26; Ephesians
3:16-19)
