Living Water and
Your Life

Are you empty or full? Thirsty? Or Satisfied? How do you
come here before God? If you were equipped with a fuel gauge,
how do you think it would read? Jesus says if we are thirsty
(running on empty) he has a drink for us that will fill us
to overflowing. Just one thing to consider, we need to be
ready for it to overflow to others because Jesus will give
us more than we need for ourselves. Looking forward prophetically,
Isaiah 55 speaks of anyone who thirsts is to come to the
water and drink. You don’t have to have money. It is
free for the accepting (v. 1). When this living water flows
freely in our lives we can have joy, peace, exuberant expressions
of live, and a quality of life that is unexplainable. The
invitation to let the living water satisfy our thirst is
the invitation to abundant living. (John 7:37-39; Isaiah
55)
