The Fullness of God

In Ephesians 3:14-21 Paul launches into a prayer for his
readers. His desire is that they know God in the richest
way. He expresses a desire for them to “be filled with
the fullness of God” (v. 19, NRSV). The “fullness
of God” is expressed only in Jesus. In union with Jesus
and through the empowering of the Spirit we can be complete
and full. We come to this place through our relationship
of participation in the life and love of Jesus – “Living
for Jesus; Becoming like Jesus.”
