| The Holy Spirit
and Life Renewal

When the Holy Spirit came in power on Pentecost, there was
new life, new zeal and new passion to live for Jesus. People
believed and expected to see the glory of God as Jesus said
in John 11:40. As Joshua prepared to lead Israel God told
him to be courageous and strong (Deuteronomy 31 and Joshua
1). He stepped out and believed. As God brings renewal to
our lives we step out and allow the Spirit to do a daily
work in our lives by living the word of God. “Those
who hope in the Lord will renew their strength” (Isaiah
40:31).
