The Tower of Babel and the Day of Pentecost:
At first glance there seems to be no connection between these
two events. But when we compare these events we can learn
a deeper understanding and be helped to grasp more deeply
what happened on the Day of Pentecost. We will see that in
one event much was lost and in the other event much was gained.
John 16:7 tells us:
“But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that
I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not
come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
