Jesus’ focus is always forward looking
(eternity), others caring (love) and God centered (worship).
The gifts Paul describes are for preparing us to help others,
building the body of Christ which is the church and bringing
us all into unity and maturity in the faith so we can become
like Jesus. When the church functions like a healthy body
God is glorified.
