The One Thing
~ Richard Lane, Ben Zobrist
In Psalm 27, David focuses on one thing: running to God
in the midst of his deepest troubles. Seeking after God --
being in His presence and gazing on His beauty -- was David's
answer to many of life's difficulties. Likewise, as we make
God our "one thing," we place all of our past and
present circumstances into the hands of the One who is able
to deliver us and lift us to a place of refuge. (Psalm 27:4-5)
