and from the Heart

“The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it, . . . “ (Psalm 24:1,
NIV). If we believe this scripture, whatever we so tightly
hold in our hands doesn’t really belong to us.
Spiritual formation is about the shaping of our hearts. We
have a part in the cultivation of how our heart grows and
is shaped and formed. From the shape and form of our heart
comes our understanding of how to use the resources God provides
in our lives. Since he owns it all, then he has merely loaned
it to us for a brief period of time. How will you use these
resources to glorify God and further his Kingdom?
