Imitators
of Christ

As children growing up, we are great imitators. We act out
what others do. We try to copy animals, the wind, sounds,
etc. As children of God, we have the opportunity to imitate
him. As we imitate Jesus he will actually fill in the parts
we cannot do through the power of the Spirit. Jesus ministry
with the disciples operated on this principle, go and do
what I have shown you. Even though naturally our life of
imitating Jesus may not come out quite the same, supernaturally
his kind of life can become the driving force in our life.
