A Solid Foundation
in Jesus

Whether a person has been a part of a church
for 10 weeks or 10 years, that person has probably heard
that Jesus should be the foundation of our lives. We will
often hear Jesus words repeated, “The stone that the
builders rejected has become the cornerstone; this was the
Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes?” (Matthew
21:42) But still, we often get caught up in building our
own structure and, at times, we can let Jesus slip from His
pivotal place of strength and support. If we have let things
slip, how can we get things squared again? Nehemiah discovered
at least one way to straighten out a structure.
