God’s New Community

God has called each of us to be part of something greater
than ourselves, the Church, the Body of Christ. We are called
to be salt and light on the earth.
Throughout history God has called a group of people to be
part of what he is doing on earth. There is no more important
investment of our time, talents, and treasures. John 17:21
states, “that all of them may be one, Father, just as
you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that
the world may believe that you have sent me.”
