Strong
in the Lord

“Be strong in the Lord and the strength of his power.” These
words should give us confidence – strong, strength
and power. The words Paul uses here are also used in Ephesians
1:19-20 when he talks about the power that raised Christ
from the dead. Paul is reminding us that our spiritual life
and formation begins in God, is sustained by God and will
be completed in the power of God. (Ephesians 6:10) [communion]
