He Was a Man
Like Us

There are certain people in the Bible that seem larger than life -- superheroes
that are ready to jump off the pages of our Bible to save the day and jump
tall buildings in a single bound. The prophet Elijah was one such man. We
recall images of him boldly defying a king, raising a boy from the dead and
calling fire down from heaven. Can we relate to a super hero like Elijah?
James 5:17 states he "was a man with a nature like ours." Tonight,
let's unpack the life of Elijah and find relevant lessons for our current
Christian walk.
