As Christians, when we acknowledge Jesus’ sacrifice
and victory on our behalf, we find freedom from the things
that gripped us beforehand. But this is more than a freedom
‘from’ those things that held us in check beforehand,
it is also freedom ‘for’ certain other things.
Freedom in Christ provides for an intimate relationship with
God and a freedom toward others – freedom from fear
of others, freedom in communication, freedom of expression,
and freedom to serve as disciples of Christ. |
