| Day of prayer
for the peace of Jerusalem

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May they
prosper who love you, peace be within your walls, and security
within your towers.’ For the sake of the house of the
Lord our God, I will seek your good” (Psalm 122:6-9).
We look forward to the New Jerusalem (Revelation 21), that
time of no more tears nor sorrows. The entire world will
be at peace. We pray for that.
Tonight we focus on interceding for the revelation of Jesus
as Messiah bringing light into darkness and share our hearts
for the healing of the world. We pray for spiritual and political
leaders of Israel, the U.S. and the world, for the coming
of Jesus into our own lives in a powerful way so we may be
the instruments of peace God can use wherever we are in the
world.
Pray for the revelation of Jesus as Messiah in the Middle
East and the world to bring the “peace of Jerusalem
(Psalm 122).
