Knowing
Jesus’ Story Well Enough to Tell It

Paul is reminding the Corinthians of the good news he had
passed on to them. He says he handed on to them what was of
first importance, i.e. that Christ died for our sins according
to the scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised
the third day, and then a list of the people he appeared to.
The fact that he died means that he also lived. This makes
a good outline for telling the story of the Savior. As we
add in the details for each aspect we rehearse our Savior’s
love again and again. 1 Corinthians 15:1-5 (Disc 8)
